چکیده

ABSTRACT We present new 3-mm continuum and molecular lines observations from the ATOMS survey towards massive protostellar clump, MM1, located in filamentary infrared dark cloud (IRDC), G034.43+00.24 (G34). The observed are tracers of either dense gas (e.g. HCO+/H13CO+ J= 1–0) or outflows CS 2–1). most complete picture to date seven cores MM1 is revealed by dust emission. These found be gravitationally bound, with virial parameter, αvir < 2. At least four identified a total outflowing mass ∼45 M⊙, energy 1 × 1047 erg, typical B0-type star. Evidence hierarchical fragmentation, where turbulence dominates over thermal pressure, at both clump scales. This could linked scale-dependent, dynamical inflow/accretion on core therefore suggest that G34 undergoing process multiscale which leads sequential formation fragments initial cloud, clumps, ultimately cores, sites star formation.

Magnetic Fields in Massive Star Forming Regions

We present the largest sample of high-mass star-forming regions observed using submillimetre imaging polarimetry. The data were taken using SCUBA in conjunction with the polarimeter on the JCMT in Hawaii. In total, 16 star forming regions were observed, although some of these contain multiple cores. The polarimetry implies a variety of magnetic field morphologies, with some very ordered fields....

Outflow and Accretion in Massive Star Forming Regions

In order to distinguish between the various components of massive star forming regions (i.e. infalling, outflowing and rotating gas structures) within our own Galaxy, we require high angular resolution observations which are sensitive to structures on all size scales. To this end, we present observations of the molecular and ionized gas towards massive star forming regions at 230 GHz from the S...

Full-Polarization Observations of OH Masers in Massive Star-Forming Regions: I. Data

We present full-polarization VLBA maps of the ground-state, main-line, Π3/2, J = 3/2 OH masers in 18 Galactic massive star-forming regions. This is the first large polarization survey of interstellar hydroxyl masers at VLBI resolution. A total of 184 Zeeman pairs are identified, and the corresponding magnetic field strengths are indicated. We also present spectra of the NH3 emission or absorpti...

Observations of Massive Star Forming Regions with Water Masers: Mid-infrared Imaging

We present here a mid-infrared imaging survey of 26 sites of water maser emission. Observations were obtained at the InfraRed Telescope Facility 3-m telescope with the University of Florida mid-infrared imager/spectrometer OSCIR, and the JPL mid-infrared camera MIRLIN. The main purpose of the survey was to explore the relationship between water masers and the massive star formation process. It ...
